USING A DAILY REGIMEN OF 12-STEP STUDY, PEER INTERACTION, GROUP AND FAMILY MEETINGS, EMPLOYMENT WORKSHOPS, RELAPSE PREVENTION TRAINING, VOLUNTEER WORK AND COMMUNITY CHORES, MRH RESIDENTS LAY THE GROUNDWORK FOR A REWARDING, SOBER FUTURE.CLARE'S MEN'S RECOVERY HOME IS OPEN TO RECOVERING MEN OVER THE AGE OF 18. PARTICIPANTS MUST: 1. HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ALCOHOL/DRUGS 2. BE ABSTINENT FROM ALCOHOL/DRUGS FOR AT LEAST 30 DAYS 3. HAVE PARTICIPATED IN A 12-STEP PROGRAM WITHIN THE LAST 6 MONTHS 4. BE ABLE TO PERFORM ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING; AND 5. COMPLY WITH CLARE HOUSE RULES.MONTHLY FEES ARE DETERMINED UPON ENTRY. ROOMS ARE DOUBLE OCCUPANCY. MOST ROOMS ARE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE.WOMEN'S TREATMENT PROGRAM (WTP) ALLOWS FEMALE CLIENTS A PLACE TO ADDRESS THE UNDERLYING ISSUES SPECIFIC TO WOMEN IN RECOVERY. HERE, THE WOMEN EXIST AS THEIR OWN COMMUNITY OF PEERS. THE ALL-FEMALE ENVIRONMENT PROVIDES A SAFE AND DISTRACTION-FREE ENVIRONMENT.
