“Clefworks is a music outreach program designed to promote the education and enjoyment of chamber music through a series of performances in the montgomery area. Clefwork's 2023-2024 season held eight major events. We continued to foster the appreciation of chamber music, hired classically trained musicians, hosted concerts, and celebrated a culture of music appreciation in montgomery, alabama. We partnered with the alabama institute for education in the arts for an educational concert seminar conducted by the alabama state brass quintet. The wetumpka public library summer program also hosted the asu brass and instrument petting zoo. Olivier chassain of france performed at christchurch for a free concert. Steamfest, the alabama shakespeare holiday open house ended the year on a high note we co-hosted a benefit for asu professors travelling to an international music festival. String theory and the mcclellan-back guitar duo were our featured performers at our public paid concerts in our 17th season of educating students and entertaining the montgomery community.”
