Mission

Provide affordable cooperative housing to the people of boulder county.

Activity 2
The organization agreed to be a fiscal sponsor of flatiron neighborhood farm under a type c fiscal sponsorship arrangement. Boulder housing coalition received contributions for flatiron neighborhood farm, which were then re-granted to them after deducting a 5% administration fee. The two organizations formed a fiscal sponsorship agreement and have determined that their exempt purposes are in alignment. Flatiron neighborhood farm submitted a report to boulder housing coalition on how the funds were spent on its programs. Boulder housing coalition exercised sufficient control over its grants to make sure that they were used in the outlined charitable purpose of the organization.

THE MAJORITY OF THE RESIDENTS ARE MAKING BELOW 30% OF THE AMI. THE HOUSES WERE PURCHASED WITH THE HELP OF 210,000 IN HOME PROGRAM GRANTS. THE REVENUE GENERATED BY THE HOUSES, IN COMBINATION WITH OPERATING GRANTS PROVIDES THE REVENUE SOURCE FOR THE NON-PROFIT.
