“The executive committee of the board of directors consists of ten (10) members - the president, vice president/president-elect and three (3) vice presidents in odd-numbered years or four (4) vice presidents in even-numbered years, the secretary, the treasurer, the immediate past president, the executive director and the organization's legal counsel. The executive committee shall act for and on behalf of the board of directors during the intervals between board meetings and subject to policies agreed by the board of directors.”

The compensation review includes comparability data obtained from the asae salary survey for similar positions as well as form 990s for similar organizations. This process was most recently undertaken for the executive director, m. Guilbeau in 2015. For the compensation of other officers and key employees, the executive director makes recommendations to the budget committee.”
