Our unique, trusted process ensures that the content we preserve will remain accessible and usable for researchers, scholars, and students in the future. More than 1,200 libraries and 1,000 publishers work with portico. In addition to providing these organizations with reliable, cost-effective preservation of electronic resources, we also contribute expertise and technical assistance to national libraries to help them meet their preservation mandates. We have defined and follow exacting standards and processes for content management, maintenance, and replication of the archive, and we stay apprised of new and emerging practices. Our staff is highly active in the preservation community, and we regularly write and present on new research, standards, and technologies. In addition to the program service revenue of $6,065,948 reported above, ithaka received grant revenue of $22,165 allocable to portico reported on part viii line 1f.”

Artstor brings together more than 2 million images from top museums, archives, scholars, and artists and provides tools for use in teaching, learning and research. All works are rights-cleared for education and research purposes. Artstor features a wide range of multidisciplinary content including rare collections not accessible anywhere else. New contributions are added regularly. Its media management software (jstor forum), allows institutional users to catalog, manage, and distribute digital media collections and make them more discoverable.”
