The annual review process covers all officers and other staff. Compensation decisions for officers are proposed by the compensation committee of ithaka, then reviewed and approved by ithaka's full board of trustees. FORM 990, PARTI III, LINE 4D Ithaka S+R is a not-for-profit service that facilitates collaborative strategies and conducts research for institutions in higher education and the arts. Ithaka S+R collaborates with foundations, consortia, and individual institutions to seek solutions and inform policies in a rapidly changing environment. It generates action-oriented research for institutional decision-making and acts as a hub to promote and guide collaboration across the communities served. With its collaborators, Ithaka S+R designs and evaluates projects that make higher education, scholarly communication, and cultural collections more accessible to diverse populations. The extensive, freely accessible online publications produced through these efforts include 200+ research reports and issue briefs, and 500+ blog posts. In addition to the program service revenue of $1,758,474, ITHAKA received grant revenue of $2,085,077 allocable to Ithaka S+R reported on Part VIII, Line 1F.”
