Founded 39 years ago, AiA is a nonprofit organization that provides diverse visual arts curriculum, materials, and training. Our lessons develop critical thinking, creativity, and complex problem solving through hands-on-learning. AiA develops lessons that teach students about S.T.E.A.M, cultural understanding, social justice, healing through art, art appreciation and technique. AiA programs support social emotional development by helping children builds skills such as empathy, resilience, and self-awareness. Experiential learning through arts education has been shown to positively affect student content knowledge, create high levels of engagement, and improve skills in collaboration. AiA ignites children's imaginations to become innovators, creators, and leaders preparing them for the jobs of tomorrow. In FY2020-21 AiA provided visual arts curricula to 54,000 students in 488 schools and youth programs in 32 states. Over 42% of the children we served attended under-resourced schools. W
