Developments include 50 dwelling units of family housing and 60 units of permanent supportive housing, both in Santa Ana, nearly 100 units of family and supportive housing in Long Beach, and over a hundred and fifty units of mixed income housing in Inglewood. Services have included graphic, urban, building, and landscape design, most in the predevelopment stages. The first of these projects is to break ground in Spring of 2019.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy2Grp/Desc0UPTOWN OPEN SPACE PLANThe Ninth City Council District of Long Beach has historically been underserved by public parks and other community amenities. While the citywide average of public park space is nearly 6 acres of park space per thousand residents, North Long Beach has a quarter of that amount, with the newest park being nearly a half century old. City Fabrick collaborated with Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine Department, Vice Mayors Office, and community stakeholders to craft a plan that identifies opportunities for new parks in the community that can be developed over the next thirty years.City Fabrick engaged in extensive, community engagement using innovative tools, customized gaming exercises, and pop-up demonstration projects to work with residents, local agencies, and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and celebrate a plan that better connects neighborhoods to natural, recreation, and open spaces. The two dozen workshops, community meetings, and events resulted in over three thousand touch points with local residents, grounding the plan in local knowledge and led to a plan that is already being championed by the community.The bulk of the community outreach and creation of the plan took place in 2017, with internal City review and policy-maker adoption taking place in the months after. The Uptown Open Space Plan includes substantial existing conditions analysis, case study research, and a menu of policies, programs, and projects to expand the overall acreage of public open space in North Long Beach five-fold, while providing a park within a ten minute walk of every resident in the Ninth City Council District.

Advocacy efforts in 2015 focused on including pedestrian and bicyclist enhancements along Alamitos Avenue and Pacific Avenue as part of upcoming roadway projects, though attention was paid to other streets and neighborhoods. City Fabricks primary work included research, transportation planning, street design and community outreach. The work was financial supported as part of a grant through the California Endowment.
