Finance and executive committees will review the 990's then present them to the board of directors for approval. Formal board approval will be documented in the board meeting minutes prior to filing.

The organization has a written conflict of interest policy that is completed by its' directors and employees. The conflict of interest statement is reviewed yearly, and is on file at the organization's office. The board or a duly constituted committee thereof shall determine whether a conflict exists and in the case of an existing conflict, whether the contemplated transaction may be authorized as just, fair and reasonable to project fine. The decision of the board or a duly constituted committee thereof on these matters will rest in their sole discretion, and their concern must be the welfare of project fine and the advancement of its purpose.

Form 990, Page 6, Part VI, Line 15A

A performance review of the executive director is conducted annually by the executive committee of the board of directors. The review and any applicable salary adjustment is brought before the full board for a vote and documentation in the meeting minutes. The purpose of the review is to document the past year's performance, develop a work plan for the coming year, provide feedback for work related goals and determine what resources are needed to be successful. The review shall be written and specifically address each of the areas noted above. Following the performance review, the board of directors will meet in closed session to discuss the review. At this time, the board will also discuss any necessary compensation adjustments. Any adjustments will be voted upon by the board of directors and presented to the executive director.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

Employment services: connect refugees and immigrants with employment and training to reach their economic goals. In 2021, 333 hours of services were provided to 146 individuals. Diversity training: educational training on specific cultures and how to develop a welcoming environment. In 2021, an estimated 663 individuals received training. Welcoming table: this project is an opportunity for the community to come together to share a meal and build cross-cultural relationships. In 2021, virtual welcoming table kits were distributed monthly, reaching over 1,816 individuals. Storytelling: this project engages refugees, immigrants and native-born residents to share their culture, traditions and experiences through story. Two storytelling workshops were held, and stories were collected from 11 local refugees and immigrants. Connecting cultures: this program offers monthly educational presentations by refugees and immmigrants about their culture and traditions. In 2021, 85 individuals participated. Healthy connections: this project is intended to develop a community that is more safe, inclusive and welcoming for refugees, immigrants and all residents. In 2021, activities focused on engagement of an advisory group, community dialogues, welcoming table gatherings in lewiston, altura & st. Charles, and a needs assessment of refugees and immigrants in our area. My hmong roots: providing hmong language classes for children and adults. In 2021, 17 individuals participated. Hmong csa: this project was developed to rpovide an avenue for local hmong growers to increase their customer base and gain familiarity with the concept of community supported agriculture (csa). 15 individuals purchased a produce subscription and recieved weekly baskets of vegetables. Colorful growers: youth and their families participate in agricultural education, plan and plant their own garden plot, and sell their produce at local markets. In 2021, 10 individuals participated. College education connection: provides academic support and access to resources for youth as they pursue higher education. In 2021, 3 scholarships were awarded to program participants. Girls reaching above and beyond: designed to help girls age 10-18 discover their identity and strengths and create a roadmap to pursue their dreams. In 2021, 61 girls participated. Force: this program is designed for middle and high school boys and focuses on developing positive character traits and values, promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and preparing for financial stability. In 2021, 36 boys participated in program activities. Connectedmn: this program offers support to refugee and immigrant families as they access distance learning. Activities include digital navigation services to help parents access online educational information and assist students as they connect to their classes and resources for homework and other academic support. In 2021, 422 hours of support were provided to 152 students and their families.

In accordance with professional standards, the organization follows the statutory requirements for their income tax accounting and generally avoids risks associated with potentially problematic tax positions that may be challenged upon examination. Management believes any liability resulting from taxing authorities imposing additional income taxes from activities deemed to be unrelated to the organizations tax-exempt status would not have a material effect on the accompanying financial statements.

COLORFUL GROWERS: YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES PARTICIPATE IN AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION, PLAN AND PLANT THEIR OWN GARDEN PLOT, AND SELL THEIR PRODUCE AT LOCAL MARKETS. IN 2021, 10 INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATED. COLLEGE EDUCATION CONNECTION: PROVIDES ACADEMIC SUPPORT AND ACCESS TO RESOURCES FOR YOUTH AS THEY PURSUE HIGHER EDUCATION. IN 2021, 3 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED TO PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. GIRLS REACHING ABOVE AND BEYOND: DESIGNED TO HELP GIRLS AGE 10-18 DISCOVER THEIR IDENTITY AND STRENGTHS AND CREATE A ROADMAP TO PURSUE THEIR DREAMS. IN 2021, 61 GIRLS PARTICIPATED. FORCE: THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL BOYS AND FOCUSES ON DEVELOPING POSITIVE CHARACTER TRAITS AND VALUES, PROMOTING HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHOICES, AND PREPARING FOR FINANCIAL STABILITY. IN 2021, 36 BOYS PARTICIPATED IN PROGRAM ACTIVITIES. CONNECTEDMN: THIS PROGRAM OFFERS SUPPORT TO REFUGEE AND IMMIGRANT FAMILIES AS THEY ACCESS DISTANCE LEARNING.
