The executive director disseminates conflict of interest forms at the beginning of each year to board and staff. These forms are then collected and reviewed by the executive director for potential conflicts. Diversity and inclusion, and public awareness: usta supports tennis programs and events that create an environment which invites and supports the involvement of all groups or individuals. Form 990, page 5, part v, line 2a - number of employees reported on form w-3: the organziation contracted payroll services with a professional employer organization (peo) in 2017. Under this service, the peo is the employer of record for employment-related tax purposes. Peo's exist through a relationship called co-employment wherein usta's employees work for both usta and the peo. Usta has no responsibility for payroll tax filings. The employees of usta are reported as employees of the peo for payroll tax purposes and filings. The number of usta's employees was 37 as reported by the peo.
