Key employees receive an annual performance evaluation by the executive director and get the same percentage increase as all other employees. Non-profit salary information is obtained from the united way and employers resource association. The executive committee discusses the executive director's performance and the chair of the board delivers the evaluation to the executive director.

It shall be the purpose of the fund to provide financial support for caracole to permit it to continue to meet the current, evolving and unforeseen needs of individuals affected by hiv / aids in the greater cincinnati area, and the 8 counties in southwest ohio, and to assist caracole in other charitable activities which it may from time to time undertake.

Based on the evaluation of the agency's tax position, management believes all positions taken would be upheld under an examination. Therefore, no provision for the effects of uncertain tax positions has been recorded for the year ended december 31, 2015.
