“The process for determining compensation includes a recommendation that is proposed by the president and the chief operating officer. Those recommendations are reviewed by the compensation committee of the board of directors and either approved or revised. The compensation committee reviews comparable data on other non-profit organizations in the tri-state area. This process was last undertaken in february 2014. At that time, the compensation committee approved the recommended salary increases that the president proposed for key officers and employees.”
