Supplemental Narrative

Additional Explanations

Form 990, Page 1, Part I, Line 6

In 2013 there were 629 volunteers who served in various capacities 20,110 total hours in all of our various programs. Of that number, 284 were considered regular volunteers, which means they served some time every week.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

The coat of many colors (comc) is a thrift store operated to accept donations and then re-sale gently used clothing, toys, and other household items. Comc recognizes for non-cash donation revenue, inventory, and cost of goods sold, the value assigned to the item when placed on the floor for re-sale. 2013 sales of donated items was 328,697 as listed on page 9, line 10a. The 255,660 in program service expenses are the total expenditures to operate the store. Of this amount, 117,328 were occupancy expenses associated with our facility.
