The coat of many colors (comc) is a thrift store operated to accept donations and then re-sale gently used clothing, toys, and other household items. Comc recognizes for non-cash donation revenue, inventory, and cost of goods sold, the value assigned to the item when placed on the floor for re-sale. 44 volunteers worked 8,215 hours in the comc in 2017.

BOTH PANTRIES PROVIDE FOOD STAPLES, AS WELL AS MEAT AND FRESH PRODUCE. THE VP AND MFP GAVE AWAY 413,947 OF FOOD TO OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED. BOTH SERVE A CROSS-SECTION OF PEOPLE INCLUDING FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN, THE ELDERLY, VETERANS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. 116 VOLUNTEERS WORKED 7,264 HOURS IN THE VP AND 334 VOLUNTEERS WORKED 2,547 HOURS IN THE MFP IN 2017.

REFERRALS WERE MADE TO MISSION CENTRAL SERVICES INCLUDING FOOD PROGRAMS AND THE VILLAGE LIBRARY DESCRIBED BELOW AND THE FAMILY OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAM WHICH PARTNERS WITH FAMILIES TO ASSIST THEM IN REGAINING FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE AND RESTORING STABLE HOUSING. 35 VOLUNTEERS WORKED 2,862 HOURS IN THE CRC IN 2017.

MOST OF THE STUDENTS WE SERVE LIVE IN HOMES WHERE ENGLISH IS NOT THE PRIMARY LANGUAGE, SO THIS HELP IS CRUCIAL TO THEIR ACADEMIC SUCCESS. STUDENTS WHO ARE STRUGGLING IN PARTICULAR AREAS ARE ALSO OFFERED THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND ABBREVIATED TUTORING SESSIONS DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. 74 VOLUNTEERS WORKED 1,664 HOURS IN THE VILLAGE LIBRARY IN 2017.
