Each member of the board of directors, officer, or any other person who the board determines to have substantial influence over futures is required to disclose promptly to the board or, as delegated by the board to the governance committee, all material facts regarding his or her interest in a transaction or arrangement or affiliation with any vendor, consultant, or grantee being considered by futures. If a member of the board of directors is the individual with which a potential conflict is deemed to exist, he or she is not present during the board or governance committee's discussion or determination of whether a conflict of interest exists. If appropriate, the chair of the board or of the governance committee shall appoint a disinterested person or committee to investigate alternatives to the proposed transaction or arrangement, and to compile data regarding comparable transactions and arrangements. The deliberation and decision regarding any transaction with a potential conflict of interest is documented in the minutes of the board and/or committee meeting.

OUR WORK ADVANCES ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITIES AND STRENGTHENS CHANGE LEADERSHIP IN GOVERNMENT, CHILD WELFARE, EDUCATION, AND HUMAN SERVICES FOR FAMILIES IMPACTED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE (DV). IN 2019, WE ENGAGED SYSTEMS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SERVING 1 - 3 MILLION YOUNG PEOPLE AND CULTURALLY SPECIFIC, COMMUNITY-BASED PROVIDERS SERVING INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES AND FAMILIES OF COLOR. WE AIM TO: 1) CATALYZE SCALABLE PROGRAM, PRACTICE, AND POLICY INNOVATIONS TO INCREASE IMPACT FOR DV PREVENTION AND RESPONSE, AND 2) STRENGTHEN DV EVIDENCE BUILDING WITHIN NON-PROFITS AND PUBLIC SECTOR. OUR PLATFORMS (CHANGING MINDS INITIATIVE, THE PROMISING FUTURES NATIONAL CAPACITY CENTER, THE OFFICE OF HEAD START'S NATIONAL CENTER ON PARENT FAMILY, AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, AND THE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT CENTER ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND CHILD WELFARE) ENGAGED INNOVATORS AND LEADERS FROM 18 STATES AND PUERTO RICO TRAINING 1600+ PARTICIPANTS, FULFILLED 109,521 REQUESTS FOR PRACTICE PRODUCTS, SAW 91,031 UNIQUE WEBSITE HITS YIELDING 11,718 DOWNLOADS OF MATERIALS, AND PROVIDED MONTHLY COACHING/TA TO 135+ SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS IN CHILD WELFARE SYSTEMS, DV STATE COALITIONS, AND PROGRAMS WHO SERVICE FATHERS, PEOPLE WHO USE VIOLENCE, AND CHILD AND ADULT SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
