Income earned from the organization's endowment will be used to support current and future program activities and operations.

Part X, Line 2:

Futures without violence is exempt from federal and california income taxes under the provision of internal revenue code section 509(a)(2) as an organization described under irc section 501(c)(3) and section 23701d of the california revenue and taxation code. Presidio building 100, inc. Pays both federal and state income tax on its taxable income. Deferred tax assets and liabilities represent future tax return consequences of those differences, which will either be taxable or deductible when the assets and liabilities are recovered or settled. No federal or state income tax liability or deferred tax assets and liabilities have been recognized as of december 31, 2015, as they have been deemed immaterial to the consolidated financial statements when taken as a whole. IRS990/Desc0Health - As the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (DV) Futures Without Violence has been a leader in healthcare issues related to domestic violence providing education to over 9,300 people through 65 trainings and 38 webinars and disseminated over 1,250,000 patient/provider education tools nationwide and completed new resources for campus health settings to respond to campus sexual assault, new clinical training tools to respond to the overlap of HIV and domestic violence and published a study that demonstrated that school based health interventions can improve health and safety for adolescents. We continued to educate the field about the Affordable Care Act domestic violence screening and response coverage requirements, and the special enrollment for survivors of DV to access health care year-round without being dependent on an abusive partner for health coverage. We are building partnerships between community based domestic and sexual violence programs and health care clinics in 17 communities across California and in seven sites across seven U.S. states; and a research project in three states.
