Activity 2

International center to end violence - an international center in san francisco as a hub of educational and leadership development activity from providing judicial education program to advocate for financial, political, and community service resource to safeguard immigrant women and children among the most vulnerable populations, to advance us toward a violence-free society. The center seeks to promote the values of respect, empathy, and responsibility; expose the cycle of violence and its impact on families and societies throughout the world; assist the public in examining root causes of violence and rouse individuals everywhere to take a stand against violence, hatred and bigotry.

Activity 3

Children/youth/young families - young people are affected by violence as victims and as witnesses, and they can be a powerful force in the prevention response. Futures is improving community and system responses for children and their families to provide safety and security for all family members and prevent the problems of child abuse and violence against women from re-occurring. The organization is working with domestic violence programs, batterer intervention programs, child welfare agencies and community organizers to influence and form effective collaboration and build partnership to promote safe and healthy families.
