Past participants have reported substantial increases in revenue, membership, and major donors after completing the fundraising for the future. More than 7 training sessions were held in 2017 for 8 organizations. These web-based training sessions are supplemented with extensive individual consultation and coaching and hands-on "homework" assignments. This precedent-setting combination has allowed participants to learn crucial skills, network with their peers, and apply new information to their organizations immediately.”

| IRS990ScheduleF/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 2 | TREC DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR ITS BELOW-COST TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE BY RECIPIENT ORGANIZATION. IN 2017, TREC PROVIDED IN-DEPTH TRAINING AND CONSULTING TO MORE THAN 100 ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS IN NORTH AMERICA. IN ADDITION, RECORDED TUTORIALS, RESEARCH REPORTS, AND OTHER RESOURCES WERE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. IN SOME INSTANCES, WE FOCUS INTENSIVELY ON A HANDFUL OF SELECTED ENVIRONMENTAL CHARITIES, USUALLY FOR A PERIOD OF ONE TO THREE YEARS, DEPENDING ON THEIR STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEVERAGE TREC'S SKILLS FOR THE STRENGTH OF THE SECTOR. IN 2017, 7 ORGANIZATIONS OUTSIDE OF THE U.S., ALL IN CANADA, RECEIVED SUCH ASSISTANCE AT A SIGNIFICANT LEVEL WHICH WOULD EXCEED 5,000 IN COST IF TREC WERE ACCOUNTING FOR IT IN THAT MANNER. ALL 7 ORGANIZATIONS WERE IN THE NORTH AMERICA REGION, AND ALL OF THEM WERE THE EQUIVALENT OF U.S. PUBLIC CHARITIES. SEE ALSO CORE FORM, PART III, LINE 4. |
