“Clients were assessed for trauma and trauma-informed interventions. Clients worked with the staff and dedicated volunteers to achieve healthy and self-sustaining lives. Breakthru developed a strong volunteer base of over 100 volunteers who provided 1,259 hours of enrichment groups which included classes on budgeting, job-readiness with a job coach, nutrition, exercise sessions, gardening, spirituality, and more. Additional enrichment opportunities provided to the clients of breakthru house included: client family weekend: educational sessions and family interaction groups preparing clients for employment by adding job readiness sessions with a job coach increased health and wellness enrichment activities : morning exercise sessions, nutrition classes and right brain strenghtening activities developed new partnerships : core dance exchange provided classes for creative movement which helps clients cope with the effects of physical trauma leadership dekalb provided volunteers to revise the working marketing plan”

CLINICAL SERVICES INCLUDED 2,472 CLIENT-HOURS OF GROUP THERAPY, 1,114 HOURS OF GROUP EDUCATION AND 364 HOURS OF ONE-TO ONE COUNSELING AND INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT PLANNING. CLIENTS WERE ASSESSED FOR TRAUMA AND TRAUMA-INFORMED INTERVENTIONS. CLIENTS WORKED WITH THE STAFF AND DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS TO ACHIEVE HEALTHY AND SELF-SUSTAINING LIVES. BREAKTHRU DEVELOPED A STRONG VOLUNTEER BASE OF OVER 100 VOLUNTEERS WHO PROVIDED 1,259 HOURS OF ENRICHMENT GROUPS WHICH INCLUDED CLASSES ON BUDGETING, JOB-READINESS WITH A JOB COACH, NUTRITION, EXERCISE SESSIONS, GARDENING, SPIRITUALITY, AND MORE.
