Mission

Transforming lives of women struggling with drug and alcohol addiction by providing a long-term residential program to experience physical, emotional and spiritual healing through recovery.as the first long-term residential recovery program for women in georgia, breakthru house is designed to meet the unique needs of women struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Utilizing the 12 steps and therapeutic community, breakthru house provides a safe, structured drug free environment to foster a life of recovery while therapeutically addressing addiction as a disease, unresolved grief, trauma and poor self-esteem issues commonly associated with female addicts.

Of group education, and 339 hours of one-on-one counseling and individualized treatment planning. Clients worked with staff and dedicated volunteers to achieve healthy and self-sustaining lives through enrichment activities including classes on budgeting, job-readiness, nutrition, exercise, gardening, spirituality, and more. Breakthru house successfully exceeded 2014 measurable goals for the length of time that clients remained in treatment. The longer a client remains in treatment, the greater her chances of a successful recovery, so breakthru house is incredibly proud to report these statistics: goal at least 50% of cliets remain in treatment for 90 days or greater compared to 2013-57% 2014 results-78% at least 25% of clients remain in treatment for six months or greater compared to 2013-33% 2014 results-57%

CLINICAL SERVICES INCLUDED 2,921 CLIENT-HOURS OF GROUP THERAPY, 1,508 CLIENT-HOURS OF GROUP EDUCATION, AND 339 HOURS OF ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING AND INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT PLANNING. CLIENTS WORKED WITH STAFF AND DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS TO ACHIEVE HEALTHY AND SELF-SUSTAINING LIVES THROUGH ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDING CLASSES ON BUDGETING, JOB-READINESS, NUTRITION, EXERCISE, GARDENING, SPIRITUALITY, AND MORE.
