“Launched a podcast on november 28, 2018. It is called "you were made for this,- and is about transforming our relationships into the best they can be. It shares principles and strategies to help people of faith, particularly missionaries, strengthen their relationships. Our experience has taught us that relationship issues are the most common areas of stress in the life of missionaries. As of the end of our fiscal year, we have had 4,338 downloads of the podcast.”

“We saw remarkable progress made by the missionary who has been seeing us almost weekly since last october. Her health issues are almost cleared up, and the relational issues she is dealing with are also much improved. When i think of how she was when she first started meeting with us, and how she is now, the contrast could not be greater. When she first came to us she was very leery, not trusting us much at all, and very wounded. She had no plans to return to the mission field in southeast asia. We have been blessed to be used by god to help restore her spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Where once she talked about resigning from missions, she's now looking forward to returning to cambodia by december 31, 2019,”

“Other counseling and debriefing of missionaries. We do individual and couples counseling to help missionaries deal with the stresses of missionary life. Here's one example" a missionary wife came to see us with the presenting problem of "how do i adjust to re-entry in moving back to the states from indonesia?" her reason for moving back was to care for her young-adult son whose fiance-to-be had died. He was having a hard time coping with this loss. The more we talked, the more readily apparent it became she didn't want to move back to the us, as she and her husband were thriving in their ministry overseas. We gave her a fresh perspective on caring for her 20-something son and challenged her perceived need to return to the us for him. She had not considered the perspective we shared. Several days later she sought us out church, and was just beaming. "we've decided we're going to stay in indonesia." she seemed very relieved and was very grateful for our input. Missionaries tell us they found our ministry instrumental in helping them return to the mission field with renewed hope, encouragement, and energy. This past fiscal year, for example, we engaged in several long-term weekly counseling sessions via skype with several missionaries, one in germany, and another in nigeria”
