“Book promotion. My book, "them - the richer life found in caring for others" came out in late february 2016. It is about how missionaries, mission agencies, and all of us can better care for each other. It has been well received. In august 2016 i was a guest on radio station wwib-fm in chippewa falls, wi and was interviewed about the book and took questions from several callers. Book sales are intended to provide a resource for those wanting to care better for others. I also promoted the book at missionary care conference, ptm in october 2016, and at a pastors' conference in november.”

“Missionary training. Conducted a missionary care training workshop in september for avant mission, based in kansas city, mo. Also did debriefing of individual missionaries in addition to our workshop. In october, we presented a better listening workshop at the annual ptm - pastors too missionaries. The following month we presented a similar workshop in spain in conjunction with one another ministries. This was part of a larger singles in missions conference. This allowed our ministry to get exposure with key missions leaders in western europe.”

“Counseling and debriefing of missionaries. Both individual and couples counseling to help missionaries deal with the stresses of missionary life. Missionaries tell us they found this ministry instrumental in helping them return to the mission field with renewed hope, encouragement, and energy. This past year we were also engaged in several long-term counseling sessions with several missionaries in various parts of the world via skype.”
