“First accomplishment. Writing. Started writing a book on caring for others that when completed, will be made available to 800 mission agencies based in the us, and 166 headquartered in canada. It's purpose will be to better equip missionaries to better care for each other. There are an estimated 147,000 missionaries serving under these 966 mission agencies. As of this date, 16 cahpters and 81,300 words have been written. 3 chapters have been edited and are ready to be reviewed by a professional editor once the other 13 have been edited. Estimated completion date of the book is december 15, 2014. In addition to the book, articles were also written and posted on our web site and facebook written to help missionaries deal with the unique issues they face living cross-culturally.”

“Second accomplishment. Missionary training. Developed and refined training materials used in 2 different training conferences for 2 separate mission agencies this past year. Primary activities were training in developing better listening skills, along with group and individual debriefing and counseling. Approximately 47 missionaries from these two mission agencies were ministered to. Ministered to approximately 107 missionaries from these 2 agencies. “Third accomplishment. Counseling and debriefing of missionaries. Both indivudal and couples to help missionaries deal with the stresses of missionary life. Missionaries tell us they found this service instrumental in helping them return to the mission field with renewed hope, encouragement and energy. 32 different missionaries, from 13 different mission agencies met with us for this purpose during the past year. They serve in 16 different countries around the world.”
