Mission

To collaborate and provide coordination and recovery services to those individuals, families, businesses, and communities that were adversely impacted by nationally declared diasasters across counties in north central washington.

To collaborate and provide coordination and recovery services to those individuals, families, businesses, and communities that were adversely impacted by the 2014 and 2015 wildfires and mudslides across Okanogan County, while also planning efficiently for strategic investments and actions to ensure Okanogan County and its communities are better prepared for future disasters.

We also had a part-time Volunteer Coordinator to oversee the management process completed by the JVC. In 2018, approximately 300 volunteers worked over 23,000 hours to help in the recovery efforts ranging from clean up, fencing, brush removal, and home rebuilds.

These clients were people who were impacted by the fire or mudslides. Cases are presented anonymously through the disaster case managers for review and approval. CCLTRG oversees the work and payment for the goods and/or services that will assist the client on behalf of the funder.Outreach - Preparedness and Mitigation Program: Moving forward as a recovery program, the CCLTRG is dedicated to planning for efficient strategic investments and actions to ensure that Okanogan County and its communities are better prepared for future disasters. The CCLTRG works with partner agencies to assist and educate other communities to help recover, prepare, and plan for disaster.
