Dairy management inc (dmi) was formed in 1995 by the national dairy promotion and research board (ndb) and the united dairy industry association (udia). Dmi is a management organization that invests dairy producer checkoff funds in strategic, coordinated marketing programs designed to increase consumption of us dairy products both domestically and internationally. The formation of dmi has created efficiencies, gained through the elmination of redundancies and the power of joint planning.

FURTHER, MCDONALDS LAUNCHED A BIG MAC PROMOTION TO HELP BUILD RELEVANCE WITH YOUNGER CONSUMERS. THIS PROMOTION INCLUDED TWO NEW PRODUCTS, THE GRAND MAC WITH TWO SLICES OF CHEESE AND THE MAC. JR. WITH ONE SLICE OF CHEESE. CHECKOFF SCIENTIST ALSO REFORMULATED MCDONALDS ICE CREAM MIX, REMOVING ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS AND COLORS, WHICH DROVE INCREASED SALES. IN 2017 CHECKOFF INVESTED IN TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION PLATFORMS AT DOMINOS, WHICH EXPAND AVAILABILITY AND ACCESS TO PIZZA. DOMINOS AND DMI CONTINUED TO PARTNER ON ITS 'SMART SLICE' SCHOOL PIZZA PROGRAM. SMART SLICE IS NOW IN MORE THAN 10,500 SCHOOLS. DOMINOS ALSO SUPPORTS BUILDING TRUST IN THE DAIRY INDUSTRY. IN 2017, DOMINOS INCREASED AWARENESS OF THE UNDENIABLY DAIRY CAMPAIGN BY INCLUDING FARMER MESSAGING ON SEVEN MILLION PIZZA BOXES PER WEEK.
