Process of the review of form 990 the form 990 is prepared and revieweed by a certified public accounting firm. The form is then reviewed by the organization's management prior to being reviewed by the finance committee for approval and acceptance. A copy of the form 990 is then made available to the full board of trustees prior to filing with the internal revenue service.

Organization's practice for monitoring compliance the conflict of interest policy is reviewed and signed annually by all board members. If an event arises with any board member that changes the scope of the conflict of interest disclosure, a new disclosure form is completed. If a coflict arises in a board meeting, the conflicted member will declare a conflict, refrain from voting, and such conflict will be docuemented in the minutes.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Crayons to computers, inc. Is an ohio nonprofit organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and is exempt from federal and state income taxes on related income pursuant to the internal revenue code. The organization has adopted the provisions of the accounting pronouncement related to accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. The organization recognized no interest or penalties in the statement of activities for the year ended june 30, 2024. If the situation arose in which the organization would have interest to recognize, it would recognize this as interest expense and penalties would be recognized in other expenses. Currently, the prior three years are open under federal and state statutes of limitation and remain subject to review and change. The organization is not currently under audit nor has the organization been contacted by these jurisdictions. Based on the evaluation of the organization's tax positions, management believes all positions taken would be upheld under an examination. Therefore, no provision for the effects of uncertain tax positions has been recorded for the year ended june 30, 2024.

THE OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE CRAYONS TO COMPUTERS WITH A RELIABLE SUPPLY OF PRODUCTS TO MEET TEACHER NEEDS FOR REGULAR AND SEASONAL MERCHANDISE AND DEVELOP CREATIVE PRODUCTS TO RESPOND TO NEWLY IDENTIFIED NEEDS, DONATED MATERIAL OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPANDED PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES. OUTCOMES: 80 UNIQUE PRODUCTS DISTRIBUTED AND 142,839 CRAFTS WITH CONVICTION ITEMS DISTRIBUTED TOTALING $713,235 (INCLUDED IN STORE AND ONLINE ORDERING PRODUCT VALUE).
