Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Pickaway county community is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. However, income from certain activities not directly related to picca's tax-exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. Picca's reporting returns are subject to audit by federal and state taxing authorities. Picca's open audit periods are 2010 through 2012. No income tax provision has been included in the financial statements as picca has determined it does not have unrelated business income subject to taxation.
