“Continuation of Program Service Accomplishments In 2013, King's Ransom Foundation helped through its grant program to rescue 8,322 orphans and 973 child sex slaves. Funding from the Foundation also helped 187,198 people receive food and water and improved 65 communities. Some of the stories of those in need and how they were helped are below * The King's Children's Home in Belize was badly in need of a new home for many orphans in Belize. Many of the children were sleeping 2 and 3 to one single bed. Starting in 2012 our donors rallied together and started raising the money to complete a new home for the children which was completed in 2013 and today the children are in. Today the home houses about 80 children. And then in October 2013 our donors started "Belize Blessing" that furnished and completed the entire contents of the new home, kitchen, dormitories, etc, Raising over $139k * 200 Girls were rescued in Thailand due to a KRF donor asking us to host a Group Rev page while she rallied a group of donors to run a marathon and raised funds to help set 200 girls free from being trapped in the sex slave industry in Thailand. Over $334k was raised. KRF sent over a grant to Destiny Rescue. This partnership did indeed rescue 200 girls trapped in slavery off the streets of Thailand. * KRF partnered with Food for Orphans and raised over $132k to feed orphans in Africa. Food for Orphans ships containers of food to help a village last for one year * Dani partnered with other radio hosts to raise awareness and funds to provide safe water to children in Haiti. KRF partnered with Food for the Poor, raising over $40k”
