Activity 2

Workforce Development Program Services - Goodwill Keystone Area provides education and career services, job placement opportunities, post-employment support, and personal development to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to independence. Individuals can achieve greater levels of self-sufficiency and economic success through Goodwill's workforce development and community integration services. Goodwill provided these services to 3,010 people. In addition, 170 individuals were employed, many of whom were persons with disabilities or other barriers to employment. Specific services include assessment, employment training and education, work experience, employment retention, and personal development. Goodwill programs strengthen communities and families and promote self-sufficiency and dignity for those we serve.

Activity 3

business services program services - Goodwill Keystone Area creates paid employment experiences and job training opportunities for people with disabilities and other barriers to independence by providing contract work for commercial businesses, state and local government and other community partners. These business service opportunities provide a variety of work experience and training environments in Goodwill facilities and in the community. Services were provided to 330 people. In addition, 106 individuals were employed, many of whom were persons with disabilities or other barriers to employment. Specific business services include custodial, shredding, packaging and assembly, mailing, labor fulfillment and laser cartridge re-manufacturing. Goodwill programs strengthen communities and families and promote self-sufficiency and dignity for those we serve.
