Learning through an expanded arts program, inc. (leap) is a nonprofit educational services organization committed to improving the quality of public education through a hands-on, arts-based approach to teaching the academic curriculum. Leap aims to instill a love of learning in all students and empower them to reach their full potential.

PART X, LINE 2:

Leap is a not-for-profit corporation as described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and is exempt from federal and state income taxes. Leap recognizes the effect of income tax positions only when they are more likely than not to be sustained. Management has determined that leap has no uncertain tax positions that would require financial statement recognition or disclosure. Leap is no longer subject to examinations by the applicable taxing jurisdictions for periods prior to june 30, 2011.
