“Line 28: exempt purpose achievements continued:--- assisted the downtown encinitas restaurants in the shared streets program, allowing them to extend their dining areas outside.--- created a fundraiser to help small businesses during covid through mini grants. The fundraiser was in partnership with cardiff by the sea foundation and harbaugh foundation. Raised over $100k to assist businesses with rent and other expenses while they were forced to be closed.--- kept the community informed of reopening efforts through our e-newsletter and social media accounts.--- informed the community about special events in encinitas through a weekly newsletter that reaches more than 4,000 subscribers”
