Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The School is a qualified school exempt from federal income and California franchise taxes under the provisions of Sections 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and 23701(D) of the California revenue and taxation code. respectively. Accordingly, no provision for income taxes has been made.The preparation of financial statements in conformity with U.S. GAAP requires the School to report information regarding its exposure to various tax positions taken. The School has evaluated its current tax positions and has concluded that as of June 30, 2021, the School does not have any significant tax positions for which a reserve would be necessary.
