LUPE'S COMMUNITY GARDENS DONATES FOOD TO THE FOOD BANK PROGRAM AND PROVIDES GARDEN PLOTS TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES. IN 2013, LUPE'S COMMUNITY GARDEN HAD 9 FAMILIES GARDENING (REPRESENTING 24 FAMILY MEMBERS), USING 9 BEDS. IN ADDITION, THERE WERE 11 COMMUNAL BEDS AND 12 FRUIT TREES SHARED BETWEEN FAMILIES, THE FOOD BANK, AND GLEANERS. LUPE'S COMMUNITY GARDEN RECEIVED APPROXIMATELY 816 IN DONATED PLANTS AND EQUIPMENT IN 2013. HOLIDAY CHEER PROVIDES HOLIDAY MEALS AND GIFTS FOR LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THE ITEMS. IN 2013, HOLIDAY CHEER SERVED 27 FAMILIES, REPRESENTING 63 CHILDREN AND 49 ADULTS, BY PROVIDING GIFTS AND STOCKINGS TO THE CHILDREN AND FOOD AND HYGIENE BASKETS TO THE FAMILIES. TWENTY-FOUR OF THE FAMILIES WERE ADOPTED BY 15 DIFFERENT BUSINESSES, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS. IN 2013, 10 VOLUNTEERS HELPED THE PROGRAM SUCCEED BY PROVIDING AN ESTIMATED VALUE OF 11,010 IN GIFTS, MEALS, AND BASKETS TO HOLIDAY CHEER FAMILIES.-$26,689

June's kids kloset provides clothing, diapers, formula,layettes and other necessities to children and families. In 2013, 729 families, including 1,922 children and 1,180 adults, were served. In 2013, 205 volunteers contributed 1,124 hours to process 444 donations and staff the store for 97 days, totaling 320 service hours. The estimated value of the donations was 22,200 (444 50).

The philomath food bank is open twice a week, providing food for a week at a time to eligible families. In 2013, 20 volunteers contributed 3,826 hours and processed 54,371 pounds of donated food. 1,916 households (6,189 people) were provided with a free week of food. The estimated value of donated food in 2013 was 91,887 (54,371 1.69).

The philomath gleaners received and distributed 153,896 pounds of donated food. The food was distributed to 1,172 low income family households (11,580 individuals, of which, 1,170 children were under 18 years old). There were 72 new families that pariticipated in the gleaners program in 2013. In 2013, 324 volunteers contributed 9,167 volunteer hours to the program and traveled 21,661 miles distributing food. Additionally, 88,056 pounds of donated food was received and distributed to 659 "adoptees" (members who are unable to participate in gleans and are unable to work the required hours to be a regular member such as the elderly, disabled, and families with very small children). 61,236 pounds of food was doanted to other groups providing meals or food to the hungry. The estimated value of food donated and distributed to gleaners members and adoptees in 2013 was 408,899 (153,896 + 88,056 = 241,952 1.69). An outside supervisor enforces the oregon food bank rules for gleaner groups.

Lupe's community gardens donates food to the food bank program and provides garden plots to low income families. In 2013, lupe's community garden had 9 families gardening (representing 24 family members), using 9 beds. In addition, there were 11 communal beds and 12 fruit trees shared between families, the food bank, and gleaners. Lupe's community garden received approximately 816 in donated plants and equipment in 2013. Holiday cheer provides holiday meals and gifts for low income individuals and families who could not otherwise afford the items. In 2013, holiday cheer served 27 families, representing 63 children and 49 adults, by providing gifts and stockings to the children and food and hygiene baskets to the families. Twenty-four of the families were adopted by 15 different businesses, organizations, and individuals. In 2013, 10 volunteers helped the program succeed by providing an estimated value of 11,010 in gifts, meals, and baskets to holiday cheer families.
