Partners in care is an integrated and comprehensive end of life services organization servicing the central oregon region with home health care; in-home hospice care; in-patient hospice care in partners in care hospice house; and transitions and palliative care.

Form 990, Page 1, Part I, Line 6

Partners in care volunteers help provide patients and families with compassionate care and comfort during the end-of-life process. They provide support, companionship, and respite for hospice patients and families in their place of residence, whether that be private home, care facilities or our own hospice house. Volunteers also support community members facing a life-limiting illness, helping to connect families with community resources and providing friendly visits. Certified "hospet" volunteers visit with their certified therapy dogs; others provide haircut services, prescription delivery, or errand support. The veteran-to-veteran program aims to pair recruited veteran volunteers and patients and provides a unique opportunity to relate and connect. Volunteers also assist with administrative tasks in the hospice house and for the volunteer, bereavement, outreach, and palliative care departments as needed. Surveys, clerical duties, support groups, housekeeping, floral and soup delivery are just some of the areas they provide support.
