“In may of 2016, the board of northwest center proposed amendments to the bylaws of the organization to its members. The amendments included provisions which changed the organization from a membership governed organization to a board governed organization; added the president and ceo as a member of the board; and modified the roles and responsibilities of the committees of the board. The changes were reviewed with the membershp at the annual meeting at which a quorum was present and unanimously adopted by the membership.”

Our services include early learning programs through our two preschools, birth-to-three early intervention services, school-to-work employment programs for teenagers transitioning into the workforce and comprehensive employment services for adults, including job coaching and placement. To help support these core mission programs, northwest center has built a family of businesses, each of which is a fully inclusive workplace employing people with and without disabilities.
