DEVELOPMENTS UTILIZE A NUMBER OF FUNDING SOURCES INCLUDING LOW INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDITS, HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDS, NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM, SAN FRANCISCO FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROGRAM GRANTS, CONSTRUCTION LENDING AND PERMANENT DEBT. DURING THE YEAR IN REVIEW, FSL RES COMPLETED THE CONSTRUCTION AND FINANCING FOR 32 UNITS OF AFFORDABLE SENIOR HOUSING IN SHOW LOW, ARIZONA. CONSTRUCTION WAS STARTED ON TWO AHI PROJECTS PROVIDING AFFORDABLE PERMANENT HOUSING TO 152 HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS. THE HOUSING IS ACCOMPANIED BY A FULL COMPLEMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES THAT HELP FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS MAINTAIN THEIR INDEPENDENCE. FSL ALSO PURCHASED 48 FORECLOSED HOMES IN PHOENIX FOR REMODEL AND SALE AS AFFORDABLE HOMES FOR FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS. PURCHASE ASSISTANCE INCLUDES HOMEBUYER EDUCATION AND UP TO $15,000 IN DOWN PAYMENT AND CLOSING COST ASSISTANCE. IN ADDITION, FSL PURCHASED AND REHABILITATED ELEVEN FORECLOSED HOMES FOR CATHOLIC SOCIAL SERVICES SO THAT THEY CAN HOUSE AND PROVIDE RELOCATION SERVICES TO IMMIGRANT FAMILIES.APPLICATIONS FOR ALL THE FINANCING ELEMENTS NECESSARY TO BUILD 60 AFFORDABLE SENIOR RESIDENTIAL UNITS IN FLAGSTAFF AND 49 UNITS IN PAYSON HAVE BEEN SECURED WITH CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULED TO BEGIN IN SEPTEMBER, 2011. FSL TOOK POSSESSION OF TWO SMALL FORECLOSED APARTMENT COMPLEXES IN THE PRESCOTT, ARIZONA AREA AND WILL BE REMODELING THEM OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS.FSL RES HAS HELPED TO DEVELOP THREE SOLAR PROJECTS THAT DIRECTLY SERVE AFFORDABLE FSL PROPERTIES. FSL RES ALSO DEVELOPS AND MAINTAINS FACILITIES USED BY FOUNDATION FOR SENIOR LIVING (FSL) STAFF AND SERVICE PROVIDERS. DURING THE YEAR IN REVIEW, FSL RES PROVIDED OWNED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR 49,000 SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE, TRAINING, LABORATORY AND ADULT DAY CARE SPACE.
