“Civil survival workshops aim to organize people who have been directly impacted by the criminal justice system to gain knowledge, and increase political participation by learning how to tell their stories to elected officials. Game changer groups are a place where formerly incarcerated community members, family, and allies come together to support people that have been through similar barriers. These groups are offered in four counties in western washington.”
