OUR RESIDENTS WORK CLOSELY WITH LIFE COACHES TO ASSURE THAT THEY ARE WORKING TOWARD THEIR PERSONAL GOALS AND ACHIEVING THEM. THIS YEARS' EXPERIENCE HAS SHOWN THTAT IT TAKES ABOUT 6 MONTHS FROM MOVE-IN TO START TO SEE CHANGES IN CONFIDENCE, ATTENDING TO NECESSARY CHORES AND THEIR WILLINGNESS TO TRY NEW THINGS.COMMUNITY: RESIDENTS CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR TREASURE HOUSE COMMUNITY AND THE BROADER COMMUNITY THROUGH EMPLOYMENT, VOLUNTEERING, FELLOWSHIP AND AS VALUED CONSUMERS. 15 OF OUR 20 RESIDENTS WERE EMPLOYED BY YEAR END AND 3 ATTENDED COMMUNITY COLLEGE. 75% OF OUR RESIDENTS WORK OUT AT A GYM WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE AND HAVE TRULY INSPIRED OTHER MEMBERS OF THE GYM. WE HAVE A CLOSE BOND WITH A NEARBY SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY WHICH HAS BEEN BENEFICIAL TO BOTH COMMUNITIES. 3 RESIDENTS HAVE ALSO VOLUNTEERED AT THE HUMANE SOCIETY.
