The prior period adjustment includes differences as a result of the audit of the 2017 financial statements, which was completed after the form 990 was filed. These differences mostly relate to adjustments to promises to give, construction in progress and accrued expenses. These adjustments resulted in a decrease to net assets in the amount of $1,166,892. In addition, during the 2018 audit, a prior period adjustment was discovered by the organization which resulted in a decrease to net assets in the amount of $428,354 relating to an adjustmentsto the amounts of in-kind contributions recorded to construction in progress.

The organization recognizes uncertain tax positions in the financial statements when it is more-likely-than-not the positions will not be sustained upon examination by the tax authorities. At december 31, 2018, the organization had no uncertain tax positions that qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the financial statements.
