Fort Sanders Foundation raises and distributes funds in support of patient care, equipment, programs, services and staff not otherwise funded by Covenant Health and its affiliates. The Foundation's mission is to provide charitable support for Covenant Health's mission to serve the community by improving the quality of life through better health.

The Hope Center was established in 1996 to address the unmet needs of patients infected with HIV/AIDS in Knox and the surrounding counties. It provides supportive care programs at no charge to inpatients, outpatients, and families affected by HIV. The Center relies entirely on charitable gifts and donations for its existence. In the last 20 years, close to 3,000 individuals and their families have received supportive services at no charge. |
