4a.community development and my home centro campesino farmworker center, inc. Prepares families of low to moderate income to become first-time homebuyers through workshops and individualized counseling by hud-certified housing counselors. Homeowners in distress are also guided through financial intervention services, workshops, foreclosure mitigation and personal counseling to help them avoid foreclosure and maintain their home because of financial hardships. Additionally, in 13 counties in south and central florida, centro campesino farmworker center, inc. Weatherizes the homes of rural families faced with very high energy bills. Special priority is given to the elderly and the disabled and to families with children under the age of twelve so that their energy bills will be reduced and their comfort at home will be increased. Centro campesino farmworker center, inc. Contracts with local contractors to encourage economic development in depressed areas.in addition, centro provides hurricane resistant ,measurements for low income families. Grants make it possible to offer these improvements at no cost to families.

4b. Employment / job training and disaster relief employment and job training programs: centro campesino was awarded community builder status by bank of america foundation (one of 60 organizations nationwide to receive 200,000 funding) to implement a job training and placement program to assist community members in finding part-time and full-time work at a living wage leading to advancement and benefits. This program addresses the high unemployment in the southernmost miami dade county. The program is called open doors and enabled centro campesino to be a 2021 access point for career source south florida. Disaster relief: disaster relief program provides disaster case management, access to eligible resources, and home repair assistance for individuals still affected by hurricane irma. Funding enables centro campesino the opportunity to provide disater-related home emergency repair and home remediation (basic and intermediate repairs) for the highly vulnerable population and/or low income familes in miami dade and monroe counties. Households who meet elegibility criteria which includes proof of disater related needs caused by hurrine irma, proof of residency, and ownership or rental agreement of any disater damaged dwellings, income that is 125% or less, insurance payment statements, documentation through a local information sharing system of all resources provided for disaster assitance, and willingness to sign all required agreements for relaease of information and data sharing. Disaster case management is offerred to anyone affected by hurricane irma. In response to the 2020 health crisis, the program expanded services to covid-19 outreach response, providing access to covid-19 testing & vaccines, outreach education, emergency financial assistance to low and moderate income households, food and food assitance.

4c. Youth & family service- centro campesino provides after school and summer camp services to approximatley one hundred and fifty (150) children ages 5-14. The youth pride program is a tutorial based enrichment experience which targets positive outcomes for children who attend title i schools, so designated due to low performace. Centro campesino's outcome based program focuses on literacy, math, science skills and physical fitness. Services are provided at centro campesino farmoworker center and the steve mainster learning center. While academic achievment is highly valued, we emphasize the development of self esteem and an appreciation for one's cultural heritage. Classroom instruction is provided by certified miami-ddae county teachers with assistance from americorps members who provide tutorial and mentoring services. Centro campesino's outcome based program focuses on literacy, math, science skills, physical fitness and a summer entreprenueurial program for middle school students.

Rental community (property management) - in miami-dade county, centro owns & manages 91 units of affordable rental housing for low to moderate income families was built and managed by centro campesino farmworker center, inc.. This development called palm villas provides pre-homeownership counseling to the residents which has increased their capacity to become a homeowner. Centro campesino owns and serves as property manager. In addition, centro campesino farmworker center, inc. Also manages biscayne sr. Housing which consists of 31 units for the elderly and disabled. Centro campesino farmworker center, inc. Developed this hud 202 housing program. Centro campesino farmworker center, inc. Also designed, constructed and leased a 10 single family homes that are leased out to low income families in florida city. Other accomplishments: social services and advocacy: centro campesino farmworker center, inc. Provides families a referral system that connects needs to services available at other partner agencies and community services.ccfc gets involved in issues which negatively impact the low income community, particularly the farmworker community. Advocacy issues include fair housing, homelessness,disaster relief, voter registration, and equal access to services. Centro campesino farmworker center, inc. Also supports the development of other types of organizations whose services will improve the conditions of families and the communities which centro campesino farmworker center serves.

PROVIDES FAMILIES A REFERRAL SYSTEM THAT CONNECTS NEEDS TO SERVICES AVAILABLE AT OTHER PARTNER AGENCIES AND COMMUNITY SERVICES.CCFC GETS INVOLVED IN ISSUES WHICH NEGATIVELY IMPACT THE LOW INCOME COMMUNITY, PARTICULARLY THE FARMWORKER COMMUNITY. ADVOCACY ISSUES INCLUDE FAIR HOUSING, HOMELESSNESS,DISASTER RELIEF, VOTER REGISTRATION, AND EQUAL ACCESS TO SERVICES. CENTRO CAMPESINO FARMWORKER CENTER, INC.
