“Before the form 990 is filed, a preliminary copy is provided to the finance committee for review. The finance committee includes representatives from the board of directors. All issues that arise from this review are addressed, and any necessary changes are made. A final copy of the form 990 is then sent to the entire board for review. After the review by the entire board, the form 990 is filed.”

“Each board member must fill out the form to disclose any confilict each year. If a person has a conflict, this conflict must be disclosed and they may not participate in any discussion or vote on any matter that involves this conflict.”

For more than 25 years, we have provided year-round after-school in-person and virtual programming beginning in middle school and continuing through college. Our standard-bearing programs empower youth to discover and cultivate their passions for embarking on their education, careers and life journey. Our programming encompasses peer to peer training, workforce development, post-secondary success and life skills.”

“Moguls in training - college and higher learning are major keys to securing success in today's competitive economy, so unl is working to ensure all college students from under-resourced backgrounds have the tools and support they need to finish school and begin their careers. Students meet virtually every month to discuss higher learning challenges and receive strategic resources. Sessions foster personal development, productive college matriculation, and transitioning into adulthood. Students also receive assistance from unl partners while seeking and securing internships. Maintaining the peer-to-peer model, the monthly sessions are led by a unl coordinator and industry experts who've developed unique, dynamic learning models which ensure success before, during, and after college.”

“New look clubs - this is an expansion of our leadership academy, making the programming, resources, and opportunities of ushers new look available to high school youth across the country. Youth will have access to on-demand virtual sessions and follow-up activities that will help them develop leadership skills, take actionable steps towards their futures, embrace the power of being in service to their communities, and become a part of a larger community of disruptivators.”
