Mission
Helping people with mental health challenges achieve their highest level of fulfillment and functioning. - our story - cooperriis, inc. Is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in western north carolina that serves residents from around the us and other countries. Cooperriis is a therapeutic healing community and is designed to offer a continuum of residential treatment services to people with mental health challenges. Cooperriis is designed to incorporate elements of the recovery and therapeutic healing community models. A therapeutic healing community is a place that works in partnership with residents in which the recovery journey is an individualized experience and in which residents are empowered and supported in their efforts to heal and grow from their mental health challenges. The goal of the program is for residents to ultimately integrate into their home communities and work, go to school, or volunteer. Residents must be at least eighteen years old at admission. While co

- Activity 2
- Zillicoa - cooperriis is a residential treatment program for adults with mental health challenges and secondary substance abuse issues. Our urban campus serves 24 people and is located in downtown asheville, nc.
- Activity 3
- Community programs - after an average stay of 6-9 months, most residents move beyond these two campuses and join our community program. We offer ten community transitional homes spread throughout the surrounding areas and one home on our farm campus for longer-term living.
