In accordance with the provisions in the income taxes topic 740 of the fasb asc, avixa, inc. Has performed an evaluation of its tax positions and believes it has appropriate support for its tax positions taken. There is no provision in these consolidated financial statements for penalties and interest related to unrecognized tax benefits for the years ended december 31, 2020 and 2019. Tax years prior to 2017 are no longer subject to examination by the irs or the tax jurisdiction of the commonwealth of virginia.”
