Servicesbio's services include conferences and activities that bring together industry partners and investors for events ranging from the bio international convention to conferences for business development executives. The event attracted 16,500 attendees from 65 countries, and 49 u.s. States, including 300 members of the media. The net income from the convention supports our advocacy, public outreach, and other member service activities. The key elements of the bio international convention are educational programming, exhibition and the bio business forum, which takes place during the convention, provided an opportunity for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, academic research institutions, and investors from around the world to schedule one-on-one meetings and discuss potential business opportunities. These programs facilitate critical capital formation and partnerships, and provide professional services. Throughout the year, bio hosts or co-hosts nine national and international conferences that provide venues for member and non-member companies to present new data, meet and partner with fellow biotech companies, and attract funding from investors and other organizations.
