Governance Explanations

Form 990, Part VI, Line 6: Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder

Applications for membership shall be accepted or rejected by a vote of the board of directors. Membership shall become effective january 1 in the year following such acceptance. Each member shall be committed to use its best efforts to ensure the cooperation of its agencies and employee to further the purposes and objectives of the oranization.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 11B: Form 990 Review Process

A copy of the 990 was provided to the organization's governing body before the return was filed with the irs. The governing body reviewed the return & presented any questions for discussion. After discussion the return was approved for filing.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 12C: Explanation of Monitoring and Enforcement of Conflicts

Annually all board members are required to disclose any conflicts of interest they may have with the organization. Any board member who has a personal or financial interest in any matter shall announce such conflict and abstain from discussion and voting. The abstaining member shall be counted for quorum purposes.
