Activity 2

Student services:the mission of the office of student development is to foster the development of the whole personmind, body and spiritaccording to the rubric expressed in the mission and values of the collegenamely integrity, hospitality, community, servant leadership, and sustainability. We do this by providing care, direction, activity, and education in all areas of the students' lives outside the classroom. This is accomplished through a variety of programs and services offered by various departments within the office of student development. We also seek to collaborate closely with other key constituencies across campus.student development will play a key role in articulating and celebrating the core identity of the institution by intentionally moving towards establishing a culture in keeping with the schools core values. This movement will enable all constituencies and stakeholders (faculty, staff, students, parents, and the lindsborg community itself) to be on the same page and to move in the same direction which will contribute to a uniquely "bethany" educational experience. In our areas of influence, we seek specifically to provide students with a rich, dynamic environment in which the intellectual, social, spiritual, and moral spheres of life reinforce one another.

Activity 3

Auxiliary enterprises:auxiliary operations of the college provide on-campus housing, food service and the swede nation station bookstore. All full-time students are required to live on campus with a process for requesting permission to live off campus. Food service is provide in the cafeteria located philblad memorial union cafeteria and sandwich items are offered in the swede nation station, also located in the union building. Vending machines are located at various locations around the campus.
