Describe the organization's program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title. General registration program although a municipal-only election year, voterise registered 6,300 people in 2019, enabling us to surpass the 20,000 registration milestone. Voter registration training is an important component of our program. Voterise holds regular voter registration training sessions so that our volunteers are well-informed, equipped to deal with a wide range of questions, and confident in approaching strangers at registration events. We continued to work with many other nonprofit and community organizations such as: league of women voters; mormon women for ethical government; voto latino, national tongan american society utah; utah muslim civic league; league of native american voters; utah pride center; disability law center of utah, action utah and more. Youth voter registration national voter registration day 2019 was on tuesday, september 24th, an important day on our events calendar. Voterise participated as a local nonprofit partner and worked with the national organizing group nonprofit vote. We concentrated on high schools and colleges as these are obviously prime venues in which to reach our 18-29 target. We have developed a network of high school 2020 challenge ambassadors who organized registration drives at their schools. We registered 10x the average of nonprofit vote's 4,083 local nonprofit partners. Voterise 2020 challenge voterise was created to expand civic engagement among utah's 18-29-year-olds and other under-represented groups. U.s. Census bureau voting data from both november 2016 and november 2018 showed that there were approximately 300,000 women in utah who were eligible to vote but not registered. Additionally, women represented only 24% of utah state legislators. To rectify both conditions, in the fall of 2018, voterise created the 2020 challenge to increase civic engagement among utah women. Our goal was to recruit 1,000 women and male allies as 2020 challenge ambassadors who each committed to register 20 women. By the end of 2019, we had 500 ambassadors on board. As part of the 2020 challenge, we sought to create a utah women's voter registration day to commemorate the tremendous significance that 2020 has for utah women. It marks the 150th anniversary of the first vote by women in the united states under equal suffrage lawsin utah on february 14, 1870. To commemorate this, voterise initiated a resolution during the 2019 utah legislative session to establish a utah women's voter registration day to be celebrated annually on february 14th beginning in 2020. The resolution passed unanimously in both the house and senate and was signed by governor gary herbert. It is the first of its kind in the nation. Our cost-per- registration for this program in 2019 was 3.88, less than one-third of the 12.00 national average cost-per-registration.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt2WHAT IS THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE? EXPAND ELECTORATE AMONG 18-29 YEAR-OLDS AND OTHER UNDER-REPRESENTED GROUPS TO BUILD A MORE INCLUSIVE DEMOCRACY IN UTAH.
IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt3DESCRIBE THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR EACH OF ITS THREE LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICES, AS MEASURED BY EXPENSES.
