To support the Yazidi Community after the genocidal campaign in August 2014 . The goal is to help thousands of displaced families and individuals that have been uprooted from their homeland. Yazda provides humanitarian aid, psych, and social assistance and medical clinic.

IRS990/Desc0This project was started in 2015 it has been running steadily with a team of 12 to 25 people, to give a voice to the Yazidi community, with multiple aims: to preserve Yazidi cultural identity, to collect testimonies of the crimes committed against its people, to record the destruction of property and infrastructure, to identify on the ground the mass graves and killing sites, and to allow, through the process of remembering, an opportunity to heal. This project is funded by the US State department/ Global Criminal Justice Department.

It's funded by USAID and Supported by IOM. The Aims of the project are to support the return of the most vulnerable and undertaking a multidisciplinary, supervised program which includes livelihood, and economic independence, supporting access to services including social cohesion and psychological support, diaspora engagement and administrative support. Activities and targets: * Open 90 small businesses for returnees in Sinjar * Supporting 35 teachers in 8 schools which hosts 5800 students * Supporting 8 schools with stationery and school supplies every month * Supporting 6 youth groups for community and youth mobilization and activisms * Providing psychosocial support to 240 beneficiaries |4d. Yazda Project supported By USAID and Heartland Alliances The amount is $15,969 for the year 2020. The project is the continuation Yazda support for survivors of sexual violence by ISIS, regardless of their religion, gender, ethnicity, or age. Yazda addressed the complex needs of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) Survivors through offering Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) case management support, facilitating income-generating activities. Second, Yazda supported, educated, and empowered survivors in their ability to build legal cases and utilize available legal systems, assisting them with obtaining proper documentation and explaining their legal rights under various jurisdictions in Iraq. Activities and Targets: * 350 beneficiaries registered and 280 beneficiaries provided with PSS and case management * 100 beneficiaries participated in a trip to Lalish/social integration * 16 small businesses or incomes generation activities open for survivors * 350 beneficiaries supported with legal assistance
