In 2021, worklife partnership's resource and health benefits navigator programs helped 2,215 hardworking employees improve their work-life stability, 24% more than in 2020. We partnered with 47 employers across multiple sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, long-term care, construction, and business services to provide support and resources to their employees. We connected employees with over 200,000 in direct cash assistance for housing, food and nutrition, healthcare, transportation, energy assistance, and childcare. We provided 6,171 resources/services to clients, including over 1,000 for mental health services-a 58% increase from the year prior. After working with a worklife navigator, 87% of workers said they are now in a better place, 87% said they were less stressed, 83% said they feel more confident, 78% said they are more likely to stay at their current company, and 70% said they are less distracted at work. In 2021, worklife's small dollar loan program lent over 355,000 to colorado workers, with an average loan amount of 985, and less than a 2% default rate. After receiving a worklife loan, 95% of borrowers said they felt they were in a better place financially, 95% said they felt less stressed, and 90% said they were more likely to stay at their current employer because they had access to worklife's loan program. Fifty four percent of borrowers said that our loan deterred them from getting a payday loan. The small dollar loan program provides a critical support especially for women and people of color-19% of borrowers identify as black, 62% identify as latinx, and 80% of borrowers are female.

The organization follows accounting for uncertainty in income taxes which requires them to determine whether a tax position (and the related tax benefit) is more likely than not to be sustained upon examination by the applicable taxing authority, based solely on the technical merits of the position. The tax benefit to be recognized is measured as the largest amount of benefit that is greater than fifty percent likely of being realized upon settlement, presuming that the tax position is examined by the appropriate taxing authority that has full knowledge of all relevant information. During year ended december 31, 2021, the organization's management evaluated its tax positions to determine the existence of uncertainties, and did not note any matters that would require recognition or which may have an affect on its tax-exempt status.
